All Flyers fans knew it was coming, but today the Flyers announced that D Chris Pronger will be the 18th Captain of the franchise.
Danny Briere and Kimmo Timonen will wear the As.
As a Flyers fan, I am happy they decided to go with all veteran guys with letters. I was slightly worried that they would strap Giroux with an "A" too early.
Flyers continue their culture change with this move.
