THN 's Ryan Kennedy, among others, reported that Edmonton may be willing to trade down as they feel they can still grab their guy. Florida could either be trying to guarantee they get the player they want or being aggressive to get a player they once thought to be out of their reach.
A third rounder from Florida may be enough to get the switch done. However Edmonton may want someone closer to maturation and could take a mid level prospect instead.
I doubt a move will happen before Friday afternoon if it does happen at all. Even if it doesn't the aggressiveness by Tallon and the Cats is a good sign to Panthers' Nation.
