Is this for "just in case" or is Leighton going to be on the bench in the playoffs or is Leighton starting?
I think Leighton will be warming the pine and opening doors in the playoffs. Bobrovsky has too much skill and is playing too well to give the reigns over to a career journey man goalie with back problems. He caught fire once, but it still wasn't good enough to win a cup. What people forget is that last year in the playoffs Leighton only played half the playoffs, gave up bad goals more than just that season ender to Pat Kane, and was bailed out by the offense more than not.
He may have the mirage of being a fairy tale goalie, but he isn't the answer.
