Leafs Call Up Kadri

Brian Burke did not want this to happen. Burke wanted Nazem Kadri to season in the AHL more than just a few months. Kadri is still young, but many Toronto fans believe he is behind in his development. Burke hoped to give Kadri one more year to really develop, as he should have. But with the Leafs nose-diving from their solid start, Burke is running out of options on offense. Kadri has the tools to be a top 6 player, and his stint right now could seal his fate as bust. Kadri will be under a microscope in hockey's biggest market when he hits the ice against Vancouver Saturday.
